Overview

Fefdy Scholar is an educational Learning Management System (LMS) application for students and schools. The app provides curriculum-based learning content — including videos, PDF chapter content, and flipcards — across school grades 1st Std through 12th Std. Content is organized by subject and chapter so that schools can assign and manage material for each grade level.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information to operate and improve the app:

• Profile Information: name, profile image, phone number, and address — provided by the school or user and stored to personalize the learning experience.
• Login Credentials: accounts and credentials are created and managed by school administrators through our web portal.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide access to grade- and subject-specific educational content (videos, PDFs, flipcards) for students of Grades 1–12.
• Maintain and allow updates to user profiles when requested by the school or authorized personnel.
• Display in-app notifications or messages when a user opens or reopens the app (these are not push notifications).
• Improve the app’s functionality and the user experience across different grade levels and subjects.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We respect your privacy and will not sell or trade personal user data. Data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With the school organization that created or manages the account (for administrative and academic purposes).
• If required by law or by a valid legal process from government or law enforcement authorities.
• To protect the security and integrity of our services (for example, to investigate breaches or misuse).

4. Data Retention

User profile and account data are retained while the account is active. Schools or authorized administrators may request updates or deletion of student data at any time; we will process these requests in accordance with applicable law.

5. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure — users and schools should be aware of residual risks when transmitting or storing information online.

6. Children’s Privacy

The app is intended for students under school supervision (Grades 1–12). Because accounts are provisioned by schools, children cannot independently register for the app. If you are a parent or guardian with concerns about your child’s data, please contact the school administrator or our support team (contact details below).

7. Your Rights

Schools, administrators, and users may request:

• Access to or correction of profile information;
• Deletion of user data;
• Limitation of certain uses of personal data where applicable under local law.
